After more than three decades in the telecommunications industry, on Friday, April 8, 2022, Datacomm officially launched a public cloud computing service called DCloud.
DCloud launching event was attended by stakeholders and took place at Datacomm building Tendean. As the President Director of PT. Datacomm Diangraha, Mr. Tan Wie Tjin opened the event while conveying his joy and hope for DCloud service.
“We hope that DCloud can meet the needs of local, reliable cloud computing for the government sector, BUMN and private companies. And contribute to the growth of the digital industry in Indonesia, towards industry 4.0” Mr. Tan Wie Tjin – President Director of PT. Datacomm Diangraha.
Furthermore, Mr. Luk Phin Tirtokuntjoro as the Technical Director of PT. Datacomm Diangraha also delivered a speech and some information related to DCloud services. Among these are: DCloud service will be located in 3 different data centers to ensure the availability of the DCloud service. In addition, DCloud is also a cloud computing service based on LOKI (Linux Openstack Kubernetes Infrastructure) which is the latest standard from the OpenInfra Foundation, allows DCloud to provide the best service for users.
He also explained the goal of DCloud is to provide local cloud computing services of international standard. With the existence of a data center in Indonesia, DCloud can guarantee data sovereignty for users. In addition, DCloud’s local data center also enables government institutions, SOEs and industries that prioritize local data storage locations.
This series of launch events was closed by a prayer reading and ribbon cutting as a symbol of the inauguration of the opening of the DCloud service.
