Jakarta-Menurut laporan Nexusguard\u2019s \u201cQ2 2016 Threat Report<\/em> – Asia-Pacific, serangan distributed denial of service<\/em> (DDoS) meningkat 43 % ke lebih dari 34.000 serangan pada kuartal kedua tahun 2016.<\/p>\n

Situs-situs e-commerce<\/em>, keuangan dan pemerintahan sering menjadi target serangan DDoS.<\/p>\n

DDos atau Distributed Denial-of-services<\/em> adalah tindakan jahat yang berupaya untuk menjatuhkan jaringan, aplikasi berbasis web atau service tertentu dengan cara serangan di level jaringan memenuhi pipa jaringan dari dan ke internet, serangan di level protocol mengkonsumsi resource dari server atau perangkat firewall<\/em>, atau serangan di level aplikasi serta memberi beban yang berat terhadap server aplikasi.<\/p>\n

Datacomm DDoS Protection Service<\/em> (Datacomm DPS) adalah layanan berbasis cloud<\/em> yang menyediakan proteksi terhadap serangan DDoS bagi aplikasi web di web server pelanggan.<\/p>\n

Didukung dengan teknologi dari Nexusguard yang sudah terbukti mampu melawan serangan DDoS, Datacomm DPS memberikan cara mengatasi serangan DDoS yang sederhana maupun yang canggih dengan solusi keamanan untuk aplikasi web pelanggan.<\/p>\n

Ada 4 macam cara untuk melakukan proteksi dari serangan DdoS.<\/p>\n

Pertama, melakukan sendiri: biasanya dengan dengan menggunakan script untuk memfilter DDoS traffic dan mengandalkan firewall<\/em> untuk mem-block traffic<\/em>. Cara ini hanya efektif untuk serangan DDOS yang sederhana. Untuk serangan yang lebih besar, firewall tidak akan sanggup menghadangnya.<\/p>\n

Kedua, memasang perangkat DDoS Protection: dengan memasang perangkat DDoS protection di data center (on-premise)<\/em>. Pemasangan perangkat DDoS Protection<\/em> membutuhkan biaya yang besar untuk pembelian perangkat (CAPEX) dan tim yang akan mengoperasikan. Dan juga perangkat ini akan idle selama tidak ada serangan.<\/p>\n

Cara ini tidak bisa menangani serangan DDoS yang membanjiri bandwidth internet (volume metric attack<\/em>) karena biasanya kita mempunyai kapasitas bandwidth yang terbatas<\/p>\n

Ketiga, memasang DDoS Protection<\/em> di ISP: cara ini tidak efektif karena kita harus memasang disemua ISP yang kita gunakan. Dan juga, tidak semua ISP menawarkan service ini karena akan membebani resource mereka.<\/p>\n

Keempat, menggunakan cloud-based DDoS Protection Service cloud-based<\/em> DDoS Protection Service akan menyediakan scrubing data center yang akan mem-filter DDoS traffic dan hanya mengirim traffic yang bersih ke web server kita. Dengan cara ini tidak perlu mempunyai bandwidth internet yang besar dan juga tidak tergantung dengan ISP yang digunakan.<\/p>\n

Sutedjo Tjahjadi, Managing Director Datacomm Cloud Business<\/em> mengatakan, sesuai dengan filosofi Datacomm yaitu Enterprise, Secure, Local,  Datacomm DPS memiliki kualitas enterprise dengan support yang berada di Indonesia. “Kami berkomitmen untuk membangun local scrubbing data center di Indonesia sehingga proteksi terhadap DDoS untuk pelanggan di Indonesia menjadi lebih maksimal,” katanya.<\/p>\n

Datacomm DPS akan menyediakan scrubing<\/em> data center yang akan mem-filter DDoS traffic dan hanya mengirim traffic yang bersih ke web server pelanggan.<\/p>\n

Sebagai perlindungan tambahan dari serangan DDoS, Datacomm DPS juga memiliki fitur Web Application Firewall<\/em> (WAF) untuk memberikan perlindungan terhadap serangan hacking<\/em> ke situs, penanganan serangan SSL, dan web cache untuk meningkatkan kecepatan akses ke website. Datacomm DPS akan memberikan cara mengatasi DDoS attack yang lebih mudah sehingga pebisnis akan lebih secure dan dapat fokus dalam menjalankan bisnisnya.<\/p>\n
