Datacomm Highlights Infrastructure Solutions at the Manufacturing Digital Hub Workshop
Datacomm participated in the Manufacturing Digital Hub Workshop held on Thursday (5/12) at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta.
During this event, Datacomm presented a session titled “Infrastructure Manufacturing Solution,” which captured the attention of workshop participants, especially those in the manufacturing industry seeking modern and secure digital solutions.
Bayu Jayasukma, Cloud Product Specialist at PT Datacomm, explained that Datacomm has obtained various international certifications to ensure secure and reliable infrastructure operations.
“Datacomm has acquired multiple internationally recognized certifications that demonstrate our commitment to security, quality, and service. We are certified in ISO 27001, ISO 20000-1, and ISO 9001, covering information security, IT service management, and quality management,” Bayu explained.
Additionally, Bayu highlighted that Datacomm’s data center meets Rated 3 standards and complies with key regulations such as PCI DSS, DCOS-4 Managed, and SOC 2 Type II. These standards ensure secure and reliable data center operations and management.
Modern Platform for Digital Solutions
For its cloud services, DCloud leverages advanced technology to deliver modern and reliable solutions. “We use the LOKI platform, which is built on Linux, OpenStack, and Kubernetes. Additionally, we offer VMware-based services, with DCloud serving as an official Premier Partner of VMware,” Bayu explained.
DCloud’s collaboration with more than 20 technology partners, both global and local, further strengthens its position as a trusted cloud solutions provider. These partners span various sectors, including manufacturing, retail, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and more.
Enhancing Understanding of Cloud Security
The Q&A session became one of the most engaging moments of the workshop. One participant raised a common concern among many companies regarding the security of local cloud services.
In response, Bayu explained the Shared Responsibility model. *”When using cloud services, security responsibilities do not rest solely on the provider. Certain aspects remain the customer’s responsibility, while others fall under ours as the service provider. This division of responsibility depends on the type of DCloud service chosen, whether it’s *Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS),” he explained.
Through this workshop, Datacomm not only introduced its technology and services but also educated participants on how cloud solutions can be secure, innovative, and effective for the manufacturing industry.
